Four Decades of
Compassionate Care

In February 1978, James E. and Mary R. McInnis opened McInnis Mortuary in Eutaw, Alabama with a single commitment — to serve the families of West Alabama with the dignity, compassion, and personal attention they deserved.

By December 1990, demand grew enough to open a second location in Livingston, bringing the same standard of care to Sumter County and beyond. When James passed on July 12, 2008, his legacy was not lost — son Eric J. McInnis joined Mary to carry the family mission forward.

Today, Mary and Eric continue to personally oversee every family entrusted to their care — licensed in both Alabama and Mississippi, and proud to be the most trusted funeral home across West Alabama and East Central Mississippi.
